This program provides free overseas facilities and advice for the first two weeks followed by a reduced rate of US$250 per month, for up to three months to Victorian company agents visiting overseas markets.
The program’s objective is to help Victorian companies:
- forge new relationships with partners
- market their products more effectively
- set up an operation in the region.
Applications are open to Victorian businesses planning to establish new export markets in key countries and regions, including: USA, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, India, Japan, Middle East, Southeast Asia.
Local Trade and Investment Office staff in these markets can provide:
- market intelligence
- strategies for market entry
- cultural training
- introductions and networking
- agent identification
- product/service evaluation.
Victorian businesses may be eligible to use the VGBO’s facilities and services including:
- desk space, computer including broadband access, local phone, printer, copier, fax
- initial market research
- cultural training
- introductions and networking
- logistical support
- agent identification
- product and service evaluation
